Each of our long-term group homes is located in a residential neighborhood in Evansville, Newburgh, or Chandler, Indiana. Eight adults share each home, and 24-hour care is provided by caring, professional staff members. We strive to provide residents a welcoming, home-like environment with a warm family feeling.
Services for residents include individual goal planning, therapeutic and recreational supplies, food and personal supplies, and transportation for community access to appointments, events, and activities of their choice. Day program opportunities are also available.
Parents and other family members are encouraged to maintain a close relationship with residents and can continue to act as legal guardians. Home visits as often as every weekend are welcomed.
Group home services are funded primarily through Indiana’s Medicaid Waiver program, with eligibility determined by the state. Easterseals Rehabilitation Center staff can assist families in the process.
The Group Home program is currently enrolling adult residents. Our nonprofit, client-centered organization has decades of experience in this specialized field.
