Easterseals "iCan Bike" rolls into town June 1-5. Limited spots still available!
"Bike campers" learn to ride AND build confidence and self-esteem.
Children, youth and adults with disabilities learn to ride regular two-wheeled bicycles at Easterseals "iCan Bike" day camp! This year's five-day workshop is scheduled for June 1-5, 2026, at Evansville's National Guard Armory.
Participants must be at least 8 years old and must have some type of disabling condition. During iCan Bike, "campers" progress through a series of uniquely adapted bikes. By the end of the week, most participants are riding a regular two-wheeler with no adaptations!
Each participant attends for 75 minutes daily during a specific time frame. (The 75-minute sessions are scheduled in advance and are held between 8:00am and 12:30pm OR between 1:00pm and 4:30pm.) Cost is $200 per person, and financial assistance is available thanks to generous donors! Registration includes the five-day "bike camp", an "iCan Bike" t-shirt, and bicycle safety helmet.
Volunteers are needed to provide individual assistance for participants. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old and have the ability to run beside a bike. They must also be available each day of camp during specific session times. This is a great opportunity for service hours for high school and college students!
